What Others Have To Says

I have worked with Janan in my seven years at APhA. If I could summarize Janan in a few words, it would be innovation, passion, and team player. I have seen Janan grow tremendously in her role from associate director to director to senior director. She was loved by her team and was highly regarded by her colleagues at APhA. Janan would turn every challenge given to her around and make the best out of it despite the limited resources available to her. She was a true asset to APhA and the Books and Digital Publishing Program.

As Associate Vice President of Books and Digital Publishing at the American Pharmacists Association, I hired Janan and worked closely with her the final 3.5 years of my tenure, leading up to retirement. If it weren’t for her contributions to the program, the last years of my career would not have been nearly so productive and successful. She has exceptional vision, knowledge, creativity, and intelligence about digital publishing. She also has the maturity and interpersonal abilities to build a productive, motivated team.

Janan is a gracious, organized and diligent person. During our time at UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy, she was involved in many organizational activities as well as finding innovative ways of learning the core materials. She always radiated with positive energy which is contagious among her classmates. I believe that her innovative mind, organization and communication skills will be tremendous assets to any of her employer.
